A family run farm and floral design studio in Hampstead, Maryland. We grow a wide variety of cut flowers and produce. We also have over 100 cultivated pawpaw fruit trees. We use ecologically sustainable practices so that future generations can continue to grow in healthy soil.

The Movement Workshop

Join Cynthia Flores, from Labor-Movement. This workshop covers BETTER body mechanics and movement patterns in order to decrease injury potential, increase efficiency and extend career longevity. 

Topics covered include:

  • overall health related to athlete well-being

  • movement practice of four high use movement patterns: hinge, squat, push and pull

  • discussion of kneeling patterns, rotation and core stability.

Each participant will leave with tips to improve their overall movement health + wellness. Q&A session.

Notes: Class will be held outdoors on the farm (indoors if it’s raining). Come in your work clothes and shoes.
